If you are leading a team

As a manager in a global organisation you are feeling the radical change in pace, the complexity, the fatigue and stress that is present, and you know this requires you to grow your leadership capacity in a new and significant way. To succeed in leading today this program is designed especially for you. Leaders in over 30 countries and on 6 continents are practicing Mindful Leadership and you can too!

As a young leader I was striving

Meet your program guide - Samantha Amit, Leadership and team coach, mindfulness practitioner, author

to manage myself let alone my team during rapid change and in a high pressure work environment.

I wanted to impress and achieve results.

An email from VP Sales that was short and rude would take me to operate below the line.

As a new team lead I was overwhelmed and stressed.

Our company merged, underwent restructuring and with this was layoffs.  Everyone experienced different degrees of tension, uncertainty, fear and anxiety.  Together with this was great pressure to execute and deliver results.

And then I discovered Mindfulness...

After 20 years of leading cross teams in global companies and coaching these same leaders I co-authored Mindfulness At Work.

I wrote this book because when I started practicing Mindfulness I very quickly felt a new sense of confidence and empowerment.  I was more focussed, it was easier for me to manage myself and my team.  I saw the change in how I was more focussed and less stressed.

I noticed how from being angry for days turned to hours.   I was a better Mom to my kids!

Today I am a Mindfulness Coach and Train in organizations.

My clients too have had the same transformation.  So it has become my life's mission to help leaders be mindful and impactful.

When Covid-19 hit, listening to the leaders I was coaching I knew I wanted to create this online program.

Here's How it Works

Learn and practice Mindful Leadership

  • Learn and Practice

Learn with short 1-3 minute videos and handouts. Experiment with practical mindful leadership exercises you can integrate into your day.

  • Check-In Daily

We recommend practicing the Mindful Check-In which is only 1-2 minutes daily

  • Reflect

Reflect on the exercises you are practicing. Research shows this deepens learning. If you can reflect in a learning pod weekly this would be excellent.

Mindful ACT Leadership Model

Models, Tools, Exercises

Mindful ACT Leadership Model forms a framework for the program, which is based on scientific research and evidence. Samantha has written about the model in her book Mindfulness at Work, the practice and science of Mindfulness for Leaders, Coaches and Facilitators.

What are leaders saying?

“Samantha facilitated a mindfulness workshop for Thrivacious, which is a nonprofit dedicated to supporting women touched by cancer in Israel. She did an incredible job teaching our participants about the importance of practicing mindfulness (particularly helpful for people going through cancer) and the women absolutely loved her. Thank you Samantha!”

Founder, Thrivacious

A personal message from Samantha, your program guide:

If we thought work and life was complex and challenging before Covid-19, our challenges are now multiplied!  I'm sure like myself, and like the clients that I coach, you are eager to learn new ways of being more resilient, new ways of being more centered, being more productive and less stressed.

In this program, we are going to be concentrating on exercises that you can do throughout your day to be a more impactful leader. If mindfulness is about bringing your attention, your awareness, which is really hard to do today into the present moment and non-judgmentally, how can we do that throughout our day so that we can be more impactful as a leader, that we can choose how we are in the present moment?

We are going to be learning exercises and train our brain. If one exercise doesn't agree with you, try something else. What's important is practice. We are going to be working with our bodies, our minds, and our hearts.

This Mindful Leadership program is  taken over three to eight weeks.   This depends on how much time you have to invest during your week.   It's designed in such a way that you can create new mindful leadership habits. It's not what you do once but what you do every day that makes the difference.

See you soon and welcome!

FAQ

  • How much time will I be spending?

This depends on you. The program is structured in a way that you practice on the days that work for you. You can choose to practice 2 days or you choose to learn daily for 5 days and take 2-days to break. You choose. Each day has 15-30 minutes of learning and practice.

  • If I want my company to pay for this program is this possible?

We can invoice your company for the program.

  • I am not a manager or team leader is this program relevant for me?

The program prepares you to use mindfulness in communication with others. There are exercises that you can use for any meeting or interaction you have also at home in your personal life.

  • Can I share the exercises with others?

Absolutely. We welcome you practicing the exercises and sharing your experience with your team members and peers.

  • What happens if I miss a day?

There is no such thing. You can take the program at your own pace. Mindfulness is a conscious choice. We recommend doing the Mindful Check-In every day so that this becomes a habit. This is a 2-minute exercise.

  • How long will I have access to the program?

You will have access to the program for 12-months after your purchase date.

  • I am a leader in a global organisation. How can I run this program in my company?

Thank you for your question. Every company we work with receives their own membership area together with customised videos that fits your company culture. For example a message from your CEO and other sponsors of the program is recommended to be included. To learn more, set up a discovery call with Samantha. Use this link to book a meeting: https://calendly.com/samanthaamit-coach/discovery

  • How Long is the Program?

Leaders take the program over about 2-months. The program is divided into days and the leader will choose which days they will learn and progress. For example Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays. Another example is a leader that schedules time into their calendar to learn and practice.

  • I am worried I will not be able to learn mindfulness

This program is setup to make it easy to learn mindfulness. The exercises in this program are being practiced by leaders in over 30 countries and on 6 continents. The exercises are especially to build your leadership capacity.
